Secure USB Drive With USB Disk Manager

For security purpose we need to ensure the security of USB drive. Virus or others program may enter or execute form USB drive automatically. That’s why we need to maintain USB drive security. Some viruses enter or execute to the USB drive without any alert. You can Enable/Disable USB port but cant stop the virus execution from USB drive or enter the virus into USB drive from computer.

If you have very good knowledge on windows registry editor, then you can change some settings for secure the USB drive. But leave it, because I want to show a software that will help to protect USB drive. USB Disk Manager is the software which will help to secure the USB drive.

Download & open it. It is portable, you can take it any hard drive or flash drive. It will open four options.

Write Protected: Enable “Turn on write Protection” as a result no new folder or file can’t create into the USB drive. This is very helpful to prevent the virus into USB drive. You can’t copy any file from USB to computer or computer until enable the “Turn of Write Protection”

Execute Deny: If you select “Software Execution Deny” then no software or exe files can execute automatically from USB drive. So if your computer/USB is affected by virus then USB drive can’t execute any program until disable it by select “Software Execution Allowed”

Disable USB: You can Enable/Disable USB drive from this option.

Settings: Change the setting for this software from this option. You can Disable Autorun and others setting.
